For most bus operators in Wales, you can purchase your ticket from the driver as you board either by cash or contactless payment methods. Some also allow you to purchase your tickets in advance via their website or app. For more information, please contact your bus operator directly.

Your Welsh Concessionary Travel Card is valid on all eligible bus services that operate in Wales, including those commencing/terminating at points adjacent to Wales, provided that the cross-boundary journey doesn’t involve a change of bus in England. You can also use selected rail services operating in Wales.

You cannot use your Welsh pass for travel in England and you cannot use your English pass for travel in Wales.

Further information is available in the full terms and conditions of the scheme.
